Transformation not Treatment
The biggest difference between Adult & Teen Challenge and a traditional recovery center is our focus on Christ. Our programs depend on the power of the Holy Spirit and God’s word to provide our students with a guiding light. Treatment is important, but transformation is key.
Discipleship and Evangelism
Through our Bible-based curriculum, students learn how to apply God’s Word to their lives. They also learn to recognize the Holy Spirit’s work in their lives, invite God to help them overcome their life-controlling problems, and become more like Christ.
Long-term Residential Programs
Our programs range from an average of 6-18 months. This timeframe provides ample opportunity for adults to confront their destructive choices, their self-sabotaging behavior, and their unhealthy views. It then gives them a safe place to establish a new “normal”— assured of the love of God and under the guidance of Biblical principles.

Set on a peaceful 70-acre property, Beauty for Ashes is more than just a residence; it is a community dedicated to turning brokenness into breakthroughs. Our 12–18 month faith-based program provides a safe haven for mothers trapped in life-controlling struggles, offering a loving home environment where both mother and child can stay together.
We take a holistic approach—focusing on the spiritual, physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being of the whole person. By walking alongside families as they transition from crisis to stability, we provide the time and support needed for every mother to build a promising, independent future for herself and her children.
Home for Women
Located on a peaceful 8-acre farm, our 6–9 month residential program offers a stable, loving environment for women ready to break free from the cycle of life-controlling issues. Our holistic, faith-based approach focuses on healing the whole person.. While our program is open to any woman seeking change, we also work closely with our Beauty for Ashes home. This partnership allows residents who are mothers to focus on their personal growth, building a healthy foundation that may help pave the way toward future reunification with their children.
Headquartered in the heart of Richmond, VA, Ready Now is built on a simple but vital truth: while residential treatment is a powerful tool, nearly 90% of individuals facing life-controlling issues either cannot or will not enter a live-in facility. Ready Now is meant to bridge that gap. By providing small, faith-based community groups, we offer a path to freedom and healing that meets you exactly where you are, ensuring that no one has to walk the journey of recovery alone.
